Tuojiangosaurus Size report
According to research, the Tuojiangosaurus living in China has an extremely close relationship with the Stegosaurus living in North America at the same time. Tuojiangosaurus has obvious appearance characteristics. From the neck to the tail, 15 pairs of triangular back plates are symmetrically grown, which are sharper than those of Stegosaurus. There are also two pairs of large bony spurs at the end of the short and strong tail to defend against enemies.
Tuojiangosaurus has a long, narrow head and small teeth. It feeds on plants and is often active in dense bushes. Tuojiangsaurus could have a back plate for defense and use its tail to lash out at threatening carnivorous enemies.
Tuojiangsaurus is a medium-sized armored dinosaur that lived in the Sichuan Basin in the Late Jurassic. It got its name because its fossil specimens were first discovered in Zigong City in the Tuojiang River Basin. In July 1974, a valuable fossil was unearthed in Zigong, China, named Tuojiangosaurus multi spins, the first complete Tuojiangosaurus specimen found in Asia.
Tuojiangosaurus Size And Appearance
The skull of Tuojiangosaurus was flat and narrow, with no teeth in the front half of the mouth and some small cheek teeth in the back half. They had a high back, strong limbs, buttocks, tail spines that may be horny, and a short and thick ulna. The backbone of the Tuojiangsaurus lacked long neural spines for muscle attachment, so Tuojiangsaurus may not have been able to stand on its hind feet. Tuojiangosaurus has at least 15 pairs of bone plates from the neck and back to the tail, from the round bone plate on the neck to the long triangle shape on the back. The back panels of Tuojiangosaurus can be used to absorb sunlight. When the blood temperature in the backplate rises, the heat flows through the blood vessels throughout the body, helping Tuojianglong to increase its body temperature.
Average Size of Tuojiangosaurus
Tuojiangosaurus was a large stegosaur, reaching 6.5 meters in length, some individuals estimated up to 7 meters long, and 2.8 metric tons (3.1 short tons) in body mass. Physically similar to the North American Stegosaurus, Tuojiangosaurus is the best understood of the Chinese stegosaurs.

Final Words
Tuojiangosaurus often walked through the bushes, looking for dense ferns and cycads as their food. When eating, Tuojiangosaurus used the small and serrated cheek teeth to grind the plants into a paste and swallow them, which were digested by the well-developed intestines. The digestive system of Tuojiangosaurus is relatively developed, which can absorb the nutrients in food well. Because its large body can only be satisfied by consuming large amounts of food, it spends a significant portion of its time finding, eating, and digesting food.
