How To get your Trek Bike Size
Trek has always been committed to improving the riding experience of every outdoor athlete. Each model of bicycle has different performance, durability, and design. Before buying your Trek bike, you should better know some tips on how to choose and the right bike size.
Measure Your Height
You need to be sure you’ve measured your height accurately. Stand against a wall, and use a pencil mark the wall on top of your head. Then measure from the floor to the mark.
For most people to get the right bike frame size, measuring the height will suffice. But the Ape Index will ensure you get a comfortable distance between the handlebars and your saddle.
Stand Over Height
It would be best to consider your inside leg measurement to ensure adequate standover height when choosing your bike. Standover height is the clearance between the top tube and the bottom of your crotch. We recommend a distance of 2-4 inches for mountain bikes, and for road or hybrid bikes, 1-2 inches of clearance is required. It will ensure comfort when you’re stopped and standing astride the bike.
