Lens Size

The lens size is typically the most significant size for identifying how a pair of sunglasses will look. The eye size number measures the width of the lens, measured from the bridge, in millimeters.

Temple Size

The third number in the sequence represents the temple length; it is the measurement in millimeters of the 'arms' of the frame.

Bridge Width

The bridge width is the distance between the lenses in millimeters. Typical widths are 12-26 millimeters.

Measure Your Face To choose the right Sunglass

Sunglasses

In some cases, they simply label the sunglasses as small, medium, large or extra-large. It is probably best to try them on in this case, as these generic words don't tell you much. Many different shapes of our faces range from small narrow, and heart-shaped to large round. The shape of your face will also determine what style of sunglasses look good on you and the size of sunglasses that will fit on your face.

Try on the Sunglass

Try them on to make sure the sunglasses aren't too tight on your head. The weight should be evenly distributed over the ears and nose, and the eyelashes should not touch the frame or lenses. The sunglasses should fit precisely over the bridge of the nose and ears; if they are off to one side, they will need to be adjusted. If the size of the sunglasses is not very suitable, you can go to the optical shop to adjust. And make sure the lens area is large enough to block sunlight.
