RheinEnergieStadion is a professional football stadium in Cologne, Germany. It is located on the site of the former Müngersdorf Stadium and is now the home stadium of the Bundesliga team FC Köln. Architectural Structure
The stadium is characterized by a geometric design with clear and clean lines, both in the plan and on the roof. The 60-meter-high steel tower supports the light roof above the seats. The roof's outer layer is a metal structure, and the inside is covered with glass to ensure the normal growth of grass in the field. The stands are a column-free structure, which avoids visual occlusion when watching the game, and the roof covering the seat is suspended along the center line.
The spectator entrances at the stadium's four corners are located on the lower floor. Spectators passing through the ticket office and entrance security check will be diverted through the corridors surrounding the ground floor and finally reach the first floor.
