Print Sizes report
When choosing the right photo print size, many people experience a sort of choice paralysis, and there are so many options to pick from. Fortunately, many standard sizes will fit the kinds of picture frames you can find in stores.
Some cropping may occur to fit your art to standard print size. Before printing, not only do you need to consider the image size, but you also need to know the common aspect ratios you should consider when printing.
Are you looking to print your photos, but you are unsure what print size to use? Are you struggling to determine which of the standard photo print sizes is right for you? You have come to the right place. We have prepared this short guide to help you decide on the best photo print sizes for your old pictures. The following post will explain the most common photo print sizes.
Print Size Guide
You have probably heard of some standard photo sizes already, such as 8"×10", 4"×6", and 5"×7". Note that photo prints have no clear orientation. An 8×10 image can be 8-inches tall and 10-inches wide (for a landscape-style result) or 10-inches tall and 8-inches wide (for a portrait-style result).
There are two different standard photo sizes for printing you should know. The above widths and heights are used by photo labs pretty much everywhere. You may be familiar with another standard print photo size system from inkjet or laser printers; these sizes are A0, A1, A4, etc., and are part of a system offered by the International Standard Organization (ISO).

Most popular digital cameras use sensors with a 3×2 aspect ratio and produce 3×2 images. So if you are looking to print or post your photos using a different aspect ratio, you will need to do a bit of cropping before you export them. Don't worry. There are plenty of image editing programs, such as Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop, which will allow you to crop specifically to various common aspect ratios.
