B8 cards
B8 is standardized paper size. They have become so common for playing cards because of how similar they are to the poker size. They are so common because they are easily mass-produced because of their standardized size. Even though they are pretty popular, you will rarely see these cards in a casino or professional poker.
Poker cards
It is a standard size for international poker tournaments. You are barely able to see the difference between B8 and porker. They are a specialized size usually only made by playing card manufacturers specializing in making playing cards.
Bridge cards
The most common playing card size is bridge-sized, which is the size of playing cards that we can freely buy in most places today. The difference between B8 cards and bridge cards is very obvious. Bridge cards are common in casinos. Bridge-card games require holding many cards, which makes the thinner bridge cards more useful than other cards.
There are hundreds, possibly several hundred, of different playing card games, and the type of game can influence the design and size of the playing card. Some games are played exclusively in a particular country, and the cards used in those countries may differ. Do not worry. These common packs of playing cards can be purchased in almost any town and city.
