On November 6, 2007, China Ping An Life Insurance Co., Ltd. won a commercial plot in the Shenzhen Central Business District. The core structure of Ping An International Finance Center is 592.5 meters high, and the total height is 599.1 meters.
Originally designed to be 660 meters high, the Ping An Finance Center was eventually locked below 600 meters above sea level.
