Francois I Promenade

The famous Francois I Promenade was built in 1544, 64 meters long, 6 meters wide, and 6 meters high. The lower half is pasted with a circle of 2-meter-high golden fine wood carvings as the retaining wall. The upper half is decorated with lively imitation marble figure reliefs to set off exquisite murals in Renaissance style. The whole corridor is both splendid and elegant. The interior is beautifully finished with walnut wood for the ceiling and wainscoting.
