Octavo Book Size
Octavo(8vo / 8º / In-8) is a technical term describing the format of a book, which refers to the size of leaves produced from folding a full sheet of paper on which multiple pages of text were printed to form the individual sections (or gatherings) of a book.
According to octavo book format, the width of the book is 15cm (6 inches) and the height is 23cm (9 inches), as shown in the picture on the right.

Our commonly used credit card size is 85.6 mm x 53.98 mm (3.4 in x 2.1 in). Using the credit card size as a reference, Octavo book size is about 1.8 times the width and 4.3 times the height of the credit card.
