Manaslu is the highest peak in the Gurkha region, located about 64 kilometers (40 miles) east of Annapurna. The popular Manaslu trekking route of 177 kilometers (110 mi). As with most Himalayan peaks, the best climbing seasons are pre-monsoon and post-monsoon.
