• The professional curling sheet is 45-46 meters long and 4.4-5 meters wide.
• A 2-inch high and 4-inch wide backboard surrounds the sheet to prevent the curling stone from slipping out of bounds.
• At each end of the ice sheet, a circle with a radius of 1.83 meters is drawn as the target, called the house.
• Each house consists of four rings which help define which curling stones are closest to the center, commonly known as the Button. These rings have a radius of 0.15m, 0.61m, 1.22m, and 1.83m, respectively.

Lines of Curling Sheet

A back line of 1.83 meters is drawn at the back of the target house. It is parallel to the teeline, which is drawn bearing a length of 4.3-4.75 m. A line that passes exactly through the center of the sheet is known as the center line.

• Sideline: Any curling stone that touches the sideline is considered out and should be removed from the field immediately.
• House: One at each end of the ice sheet, composed of four circles.
• Hack: Located between the edge of the field and the round base, a player can push his legs back and forward when throwing the curling stone.
• Teeline: If the curing stone has passed the teeline of the throwing area, it cannot be re-thrown. After the stone is thrown, the ice broom of one's side can brush the surface before the stone passes the teeline; after that, the opponent will have the right to brush the ice so that the curling stone leaves the center of the circle.
• Hogline: When throwing the stone, the player must take it out of his hands before the hog line of the throwing area. If the stone ball stops without completely passing the line of the target area, it is considered out of the game. However, if it collided with another stone in the sheet, it must not fully pass the hogline.
