Condom manufacturers use slightly different terms to describe condom sizes, making choosing the right size a challenge. The condom sizes vary by manufacturer and region, so what is "normal" for one brand may be "big" for another brand. However, once you know your penis size, you can easily find the right condom size. There are some helpful tips and tricks on choosing the right condom.
How to know condom size?
People in different regions have different physical characteristics, and condoms also have different sizes. Regular condoms sizes include four types: large, medium, small, and extra-small, according to the diameter of the opening. The opening diameter is 35 mm for large and 33 mm for medium (circumference is about 104mm, width is 52mm), 31 mm is a small size, 29 mm is the extra small size.
Most people will choose a condom brand they like without paying attention to the size. Nowadays, many famous condom brands are on the market, such as Durex, Trojan, and Jissbon, so we should carefully identify the authenticity of condoms. The following steps will help you accurately measure the penis and find the most suitable condom:
- The first step in finding the best condom size is to measure the penis. You can use a soft ruler or a rope. To get the most accurate results, people should take the measurement when the penis is erect.
- Girth: wrap a thin line around the middle of the penis after a full erection, and then measure the length and width of your erect penis. The circumference will help you get the right condom size.
- Width: you can calculate the width of the penis just like the diameter of a circle. To do this, divide your circumference measurement by 3.14. The resulting number is your width.
- Length: gently place a ruler or tape measure on the erect penis, and measure the required data from the root to the tip.
- In addition to the size, the thickness of the condom is divided into grades, generally included three types: ultra-thin, thin, and ordinary. The thickness choice is according to personal preference.

How to choose the best condom?
In addition to size, you may also need to consider some other characteristics of condoms. After you choose your favorite condom brand, you may need to buy some to try on. It will allow you to know which condom can provide you with the best fit and comfort.
- Material
Condom materials include latex, polyurethane, polyisoprene, and lambskin. Most condoms on the market are made of natural latex. Its advantages are low price and good elasticity. The disadvantages are poor heat conduction and cannot be ultra-thin. About 8% of the population are allergic to latex which should refuse latex condoms. Another common material is polyurethane, which is often used to make high-end condoms, which can be ultra-thin thicknesses of 0.03mm. It is a good choice for people who are allergic to latex. You'd better try condoms made of several different materials so that you can choose the most comfortable one.
- Design
Condoms come in different textures and shapes, and you may prefer a specific one. Many products have made significant innovations in appearance, color, smell, etc., to reduce people's resistance. Thread, floating points are the most common. However, the fragrance added in some scented condoms may cause vaginal inflammation in women. We do not recommend that you choose scented ones.
- Built-in lubrication
Many condom brands, such as Trojan and LifeStyles, contain lubricants. These materials may increase the sensitivity and pleasure of you and your partner. You can also add lubricant to the condom to improve the feeling and comfort of your partner.
