Burton Snowboard Size report
Do you know Burton Snowboard? If the name Jake Burton Carpenter sounds familiar, he is the founder of the top Burton snowboard- the most well-known brand in the global skateboard and sportswear industry. Inspired by his childhood toy "Snurfer," he designed and produced the first set of Burton skis in 1977. Over the years, its products have been continuously improved and improved in quality. Eventually, Burton Snowboard has become one of the world's largest snowboards, ski boots, fasteners, and clothing companies. Its headquarters are located in Burlington, Vermont. Today, the Burton snowboard team has many famous and outstanding people, including Mikkel Bang from Norway, Mark Sollors from Canada, etc.
The most important thing for skiing is the choice of sports equipment. Major ski equipment such as snowboards and fixers can be rented at the ski resort, but I recommend ski lovers to have their ski boots, hats, gloves, and other necessary small equipment. Burton can meet all your needs at once, and its snowboard is the choice of many of the world's top professional skiers.
Selecting your snowboard is one thing that should be done right. We want to help you find the gear made for you and your specific riding habits. By sharing a bit of info, we hope to answer all of your questions. Burton size charts and general guides can be found below for sizing a Burton snowboard.
Burton Snowboard Sizing Guide
Snowboarders have developed many ways to find the snowboard size they think may be correct. Some still use the traditional sizing method of standing a board up on end and measuring to their chin, some others by using various snowboard sizing calculators and formulas. While there is accuracy to these methods, they do not always cover all of the essential factors involved when choosing a snowboard. The following elements of selecting the perfect snowboard size are also important.
Burton Snowboard Length by Weight
Your weight is the essential factor in determining snowboard length. Having a board that cooperates with your weight will allow you to have the best ski experience and not worry about losing control. If a heavier rider gets a too short board, the board tends to get loose and less controllable at higher speeds. If you are heavy, you should choose a relatively longer snowboard. A longer board will also provide a stiffer board response for added stability.
Rider Weight (lb) | Rider Weight (kg) | Snowboard Size (cm) |
---|---|---|
80 or less | 36 or less | 90-135 |
80-110 | 36-50 | 135-146 |
110-120 | 50-54 | 142-148 |

200-210 | 91-95 | 158-165 |
210 and up | 95 and up | 159-168 |
Burton Snowboard Length by Height
Height is probably the first measurement for the snowboard length, but it might not be the best sizing method on its own. There is a traditional method. Some people believe a shorter board size should come up between collar bone and chin when the board is stood on end. A longer board could reach from your nose to just over your head.
Some snowboarders like to use snowboard sizing calculators. The formula is as follows: Your Height (in inches) X 2.54 X 0.88 = Your Recommended Board Length.

Rider Height (ft/in) | Rider Height (cm) | Snowboard Size (cm) |

Burton Snowboard Width
The width of a snowboard is usually measured at the board's narrowest point (usually the center of the board) and should correspond directly to your boot size.
Burton Snowboard Size Chart
Today, Burton skis, boots, and fixtures all have some very advanced technology, and ski enthusiasts have many high-quality products to choose from. As mentioned above, your snowboard can indicate your weight and ski boot size, and you need to consider these factors when selecting the perfect snowboard.
Other factors are easily overlooked. Burton recommends that customers also need to consider the waist width. If the waist width of your skateboard exceeds your needs, it will be more difficult for you to control the snowboard. Before choosing a size, you should also always consider your riding type.
Each Burton ski size has a recommended minimum and maximum weight, usually listed on the board's label or product information. This size range is for reference only. It's also always good to read the manufacturer's specifications for each series because every board is designed for specific functions, and each model can vary greatly. You can find more detailed size information of various Burton snowboards below.
The best way to decide which size to ride is to try them on in a physical store on your own. If you do not know what kind of riding you want to do, please consult the professional staff.
