Carry-On Size Limit

The total linear dimension of the luggage must not exceed 45 linear inches or 115 centimeters. The wheels and handles are also included in the calculation of size dimensions.
- You can also bring a smaller personal item onboard. The personal bag size is limited to 18 x 14 x 8 inches or 45 x 35 x 20 cm. The individual item must be of a size to fit properly under the seat in front of the passenger.
Carry-On Weight Limit

- When taking an American Airlines flight to/from Asia, if the size of the checked luggage exceeds 62 inches/158 cm, US$200 per luggage will be charged; for baggage weighing 50 lbs/23 kgs to 70 lbs/32 kgs, a fee of US$100 per luggage will be charged; weighing 70 lbs/32 kgs to 100 lbs/45 kg should pay USD 450 per luggage.
- The flight cannot check oversized baggage over 126 inches/320 cm or overweight baggage of 100 pounds/45 kg.
